Terms of Service
OrbisNode · hosting & domain services · applies to the website, client portal and Android app.
By creating an account or ordering a service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
Your account
- Provide accurate contact details and keep them current — invoices, renewal notices and support replies go to the email on your account.
- You are responsible for everything done with your credentials. Keep your password (and any sign-in codes) private.
- We may ask you to verify your identity (for example with an ID number or document) to confirm account ownership, prevent fraud, or register certain domain extensions in your name.
Ordering & payment
- Orders are provisioned after payment. Manual payments (bank transfer and similar) are verified by our team before they count as paid; online gateway payments are confirmed by the gateway. We may, at our discretion, provision a service before payment completes.
- Invoices state their due date. Services with unpaid invoices may be suspended and, after continued non-payment, terminated.
- Wallet credit is a prepayment usable against your invoices. It is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash except where the law requires; remaining credit is forfeited if you delete your account.
Renewals & cancellation
- Recurring services renew per their billing cycle. Renewal invoices are issued before the due date; you can request one early from the portal or app.
- You can request cancellation of a service from the portal or app at any time. Cancellation is processed by our team and does not by itself refund an already-paid period.
Domain registrations
- Domains are registered through third-party registrars and registries. Your registrant contact details are passed to them as ICANN and the relevant registry require.
- Registry and registrar policies also apply to your domain — including renewal deadlines, grace and redemption periods (which can carry substantial restore fees), and dispute policies such as the UDRP.
- You can request nameserver changes, auto-renew changes, and your transfer (EPP) code from the portal or app.
Acceptable use
You may not use the services to host or transmit anything unlawful, or to send spam, phish, distribute malware, infringe others' rights, or attack or overload any network or system. Shared-hosting plans sold as “unlimited” are subject to the Fair Usage Policy shown and accepted when ordering. We may suspend or terminate services that violate this section, with notice where practical.
Refunds
Verified payments are applied to your invoices and are generally non-refundable once the service period has started, except where a service could not be delivered or where the law of your country grants you a non-waivable right. Refund requests are handled through a support ticket, case by case.
Service changes & availability
We aim to keep services available and maintained, but they are provided “as is” — hosting, networks and third-party registries can and do have outages. We may change plan specifications or prices; price changes apply from your next renewal, never retroactively.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the fees you paid for that service in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost data you did not back up, or business interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Ending these terms
You can stop using the services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or remain unpaid. Clauses that by their nature survive (payment obligations, liability limits) survive closure.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the current version is always at this page. Material changes are announced on the portal before they take effect, and continued use after that is acceptance.
